September 5, 2020. Hurricane Dorian has delivered a devastating blow to two major islands in The Bahamas — Grand Bahama and Abaco. In an effort to raise awareness and help out our Bahamian neighbors, Central Civil Construction will serve as a collection point for humanitarian aid and other emergency supplies through Friday, September 6, 2020. Our team will have a pallet of water (and additional collected supplies) dropped off at SeaHunter. Do your part by dropping off supplies to our location. August 1, 2020. Richard Baer joined Central Civil Construction in 1980. His expertise in the business was earned through hands-on experience, developing skills in many of the trades currently under his direction. Our clients benefit from his in-depth knowledge as it guides all aspects of project work from ground-breaking to completion. Richard is a leading driver of Central Civil's implementation of GPS technology for construction layout and automated grade controls. Today, the company's fleet is the most technically advanced in the industry. Richard is responsible for all field operations, equipment and fleet management.
June 15, 2020. Bob Baer began his career with Central Civil Construction in 1985. He directs Central Civil's partnerships with industry leaders, like the joint venture with Odebrecht for the Fort Lauderdale Airport expansion. Bob also leads Central Civil's business development and client relations efforts which have helped position Central Civil as one of the most experienced construction companies working on major downtown Miami projects. Bob is an Advisory Board Member of the Engineering Contractors Association. He also serves on the boards of the Construction Association of South Florida, Community Small Business Enterprise for Miami-Dade County, and the Miami-Dade County Licensing Board.
